Hello! Welcome to my blog :) This one is like a message from Baron Samedi that i showed Chat at 12:11 on a whim. Baron Samedi's day is Saturday, and He is my Grim Reaper. I asked Papa Legba to use the cards to tell me about that night. It's cool, and i am so honored that Baron Samedi claimed me. It's not just abt me, it's also abt people understanding Death. First, i am posting the Cartomancy, next will be the meaning of 1211 and finally will be the story.

Cartomancy
Dearest Papa Legba 💗 will You please meet me at the Gate to talk about the Grim Reaper in the clouds? 3♠, 4🔶, 8💗, K♣, J♠, Q💗, 4♣
3♠ – A wound, sorrow, or separation.
Papa Legba starts by acknowledging the grief and pain you were carrying at that time — Susan, Robbie, the needle, the storms inside. This is the context in which the Reaper appeared.
4🔶 (4♦) – A solid but limiting structure.
Your habits, the trip to Dallas, the way the high and the inheritance created a “box” around you. This card says: You were not drifting aimlessly; you were on a path that had its own walls and lessons.
8💗 (8♥) – Emotional energy moving, relationships in motion.
This shows the heart-opening part of the moment. Even though you were using, your heart was still open enough to receive omens. It also reflects saving the opossum: compassion in the middle of chaos.
K♣ (King of Clubs) – A mature, active masculine force.
This could be Rennie in the driver’s seat, but on a deeper level, it’s also Papa Legba himself in his kingly aspect — the one holding the staff, opening the road. He can appear as a wise older man at the crossroads, guiding you even when you don’t know he’s there.
J♠ (Jack of Spades) – The young, impulsive side of danger or conflict.
The speeding car, the semi, the “death card” energy of the Reaper. This is Death’s messenger — the one who races ahead. You saw him before he reached you.
Q💗 (Queen of Hearts) – The loving, intuitive feminine.
This is you. Your heart, your compassion, your sight — the reason you noticed the opossum, the clouds, the omen.
4♣ (Four of Clubs) – A pause, stability, a foundation or a “window.”
This is the moment of stillness when the Reaper lifted his arm and pointed. A window opened. Your car swerved. The foundation for your survival was laid.
Papa Legba’s message from these cards:

The King of Clubs has that unmistakable Baron Samedi energy — a commanding masculine presence who isn’t cold like Death but playful, earthy, and wise in the ways of the crossroads. He’s the one who can be sitting on a tomb with a top hat, smoking a cigar, laughing at danger and yet protecting those who call on him.
When that card lands with the others you drew — especially with the 3♠ (pain/loss) and the 4♣ (the pause at the gate) — it’s like Baron saying:
“I was there too. You thought you were seeing only the Reaper, but I was walking with you, making sure you swerved in time. The Reaper shows the omen; I hold the road open so you can pass.”
So yes — King of Clubs here isn’t just a “wise man” archetype. It’s very much Papa Gede / Baron Samedi standing shoulder to shoulder with you at the Gate, confirming that you’re reading the signs right.

1211 is one of those repeating number patterns (like angel numbers, or just Spirit nudges) that carries layered meaning. A few ways it’s often read:

The Story
When i was 21 i married a hot blooded half Mexican, Rennie, and he was so exciting with his high quality speed that helped me take many astral adventures. Although he wasn't spiritual, and the people we hung with all called me crazy as well as trippin' when i told them what i saw, and i saw much. I actually believed that i may have been having hallucinations from the speed for too long of a time.
In fact, it wasn't until much later when i gave up the drugs the doctors had me on, and had obtained my associates in Criminal Justice that i realized what i saw was real. Sylvia Brown explains that hard drugs lower the veil between the spirit and physical planes. Grant you, that hard drugs also cause hallucination. Only an experienced psychic drug user will understand the difference in visions and hallucinations. Hallucinations look real, and visions have an ethereal light about them. In addition to that auditory hallucinations sounds like other voices; whereas, spirit channels sound like echoes of the psychic's thoughts.
For instance, the time when Rennie and i took acid while we were on speed/dope i was chilling in Star Wars land with Chewbacca and Hans Solo for hours while he was doing his thing in the sack. It was so real, and there was no fuzziness that i could see. This hallucination did not imprint upon my soul as visions do either.
This story is about the time i saw the Grim Reaper in the clouds, so that is enough of that. It was getting late, and Rennie was staring out the windows or keeping "jiggers" or watching what was going on around us while i was cleaning. I was feeling tired as my high was wearing off so i asked Rennie, "do we have any dope for in the morning?"
"No," he replied, "we're going to have to go to Dallas."
"You better call Cheeseburger, and make sure that he has an ounce. I don't want to go back anytime soon," i instructed him. I just got some inheritance money and i did not fuck around when it came to dope because it
was the only thing that took the pain from losing Susan and Robbie in that wreck. Actually, the reason i started using needles is because i thought that dying in a drug overdose wouldn't be as hard on my Mom as suicide. anymore. But, it did. Watching my best friend and Soul Mate lover die in that car wreck at 17 really fucked me up.
Back to the story. We loaded up and headed to Dallas. It was a stormy night, but the rain was still stuck in the clouds. The lightning flashed across the sky as the wind whipped the ever-moving clouds. It was so beautiful that i was mesmerized by it all as i watched out the car window. Rennie was driving too fast, but i didn't care because i wanted a bump to wake me up.
Then i saw Him in the clouds just as plain as could be, the Grim Reaper. He was still and i could feel His eyes boring to my very soul; nevertheless, the clouds around Him were whipping furiously in the high wind. He raised His arm and pointed to me and i knew He was trying to tell her something. "There's the Grim Reaper" i excitedly told Rennie, "it's an omen".
"An omen to what?" he queried.
My eye was caught by an opossum in the road, and i said "look at that opossum," i pointed to the animal hunkering down on the road in front of them. Apparently, the poor thing was blinded by their oncoming headlights. "SLOW DOWN!!! DON'T KILL THE OPOSSUM"!!! OR SOMETHING BAD WILL HAPPEN!!!"
"Oh shit, " Rennie shouted, and tapped the brakes while swerving around the scared animal. It was just enough. They were coming up on a hill, and the road ahead of them was hidden. So that the barreling semi truck that was in the process of its own wreck could not be seen until it seemed to be on top of us. The huge vehicle made a whooshing sound as it went by our little economy car causing it to rock in its frame. There were clods of dirt or something coming off the rear truck tires that thudded onto our windshield assuring us that if they did not save that opossum we would have been that semi's path. Even Rennie had to admit that i was not trippin' or imagining shit because he knew we would be dead or seriously hurt if not for that omen i saw.
