The next day :) 12/8 i do get trancy very often when i am writing, and whjen i look back, i think what da fuck have i done telling folks it's safe to go to Baron Samedi :O but then i hear "we're all gonna dance with the Reaper sooner or later so might as well make Friends".... is true...but Baron can be testy if people are full of shit, or have goals that are selfish;however, He does have a soft spot for the Innocent, and He is very cool. He is safe as long as we approach Him with the respect and dignity that He deserves. He has greatly enhanced by ability to see and feel the ghosties so i feel i did right, and i am grateful for Him.

This cleanse is designed for Folks who don't want to take up Voodoo as a religion, but need help cleansing an Innocent who may be plagued by things from the Other Side. You don't have to follow or serve neither Papa Legba nor Baron Samedi to ask for help for help or for Justice from Maman Brigette. Drawing or printing the veve, and the chant is enough of an offering. Feed the birds, treat an old man to a coke, give a kid some candy any sweet little thing like that done in honor of Legba, Baron, or Maman for just one favor is cool as fuck. No one else has to know why You an act of kindness to pay the one given You by These Awesome and Bad-Fuckin-Ass Guardians of humanity. It's best to do 2 acts of kindness since You have asked for 2 favors, just to be on teh safest side. As long as You do this, all will be well, and it's safe to ask for help. Or You give any offering listed in sources at the Crossroads, but that's it. Your deal will be done and paid for with no human intervention needed.

One of the most important things that i learned about Voodoo is that all ceremonies are opened and closed with Papa Legba because He is the Gate Keeper Who sits at the Crossroads between humans and the Loa/Orishas. Papa Legba is highly approachable, and is always seeked first as Legba, Eshu, or Ellegua in Voodoo type rituals or spells or to take up Voodoo as a practice.
It seems easiest to just start off with saying, i can tell You what i do, but not what is best for You. Your own intuition is more valuable for Your Path than i can possibly know. This will work until You get more accustomed to what's right for You. Of course, Maman Brigette is great for this type of work, as well. Today i did a cleanse for my Bro who just wanted me to ask Baron so i will use the pics from that to honor the Great Baron Samedi, and praise Him.

Cleansing Method
1) Light candles for Baron and Papa for best results to bring energy in. If we hold the candle to our third eye we can tell it what we want. I always put a cross of my own saliva on my lil' tea candles before lighting them to give them a boost, and put them on my altars. Warn the person that they may have ringing or buzzing in the ears, tightening of the throat or chest, goose bumps, or may see a black or purple mist or smoke. Be ready for signs of spirit working, and know that it's most likely goode even though it may seem weird.
2) It's best to ask Papa Legba to open the Gate to Baron Samedi. For my spells, i draw Papa's veve and write my intention right on it with faith, love, gratitude, and an +++ase+++ Any method that You're comfortable with is what's best for You, but be sure to give Papa an offering even if it's just playing a chant such as "Deborah Harry - Invocation to Papa Legba" @ https://youtu.be/Vk9_RsrkRGY

3) Now it's time to play a chant for Baron Samedi while i draw His veve. This can be done on the other side of the paper that Legba's veve was drawn on. Don't worry if it's not perfect or even just an attempt because it's trying that matters, and not playing games matters too :) If i am working with Maman, i do Her veve and chanting too, or Ghede chants.

5) Burn it. I have noticed that the flame may catch in certain areas that shows blockage, and that the ashes of my spells differ.
6) If Your burn it outside stomp the ashes in the ground with the intention for Mother Earth to ground out the bad energy and neutralize it, and sprinkle with sea salt or table salt to seal the bad energy to Momma Earth to be dealt with.

He also thanked the gods for me, but it's not me. It's my Guardians Who are so awesome, and i am just blessed to be psychic so i can see and hear Them.
