Oshun ~honey jars~

A honey jar or sweet jar can be made to sweeten any situation.

Momma Sarah @ Conjured Cordea explains  that "the following are instructions for a traditionally made syrup jar, made in the fashion I learned and have implimented professionally for over 10 years. Syrup jars typically work much faster I have found. The idea that the syrup flows more easily and readily over the ingredients and over your "goals" makes for an outcome that is just as sweet, without the long wait that some experience with honey jars.
Syrup jars (and honey jars as well) can only be made to draw something to you. You can not create such a jar for negative workings or you will only draw that into your life. These are only to sweeten and draw in goals or people. They are not for separation, hexing or any other type of negative or reversing work-ever." Momma Sarah @ Conjured Cordea

The steps i used in my last honey jar set up will be presented in pictures, but there are endless ways to this this.  Skulls are for the Ancestors, shells bring in peace and calm from the sea, and tiger's eye is to help us be all we can as well as draw money.  Pink roses are for sweet love who red roses are for passionate love, honeysuckle is a money drawer, yellow and orange flowers are for friendship, and the various herbs i picked from my yard for cleanings as well as blessings.  I use honey and  cinnamon on bottom for slow action and abundance blessing.  A petition is written and placed in the flowers and crystals.  Then whichever sweetener best matches the skin color of the person i am blessing is added.  The candles burned on top feed the jar.

In my belief Oshun is the Spirit of honey and the Bees so She will be presented next.  This Magick ca be done simply by using the elements and the properties of these elements, but i am crazy for Momma Oshun.

Ochún and Yemayá

Yemayá and Ochún have a close relationship and often work together, especially in issues related to romance, marriage, and motherhood. Yemayá is a mature, motherly type who watches over children and protects babies in the womb.  Ochún is the seductive and sensual Orichá who makes sure babies are conceived.  She inspires sexual love and promotes fertility. Once her job is done, she usually loses interest and hands over the child rearing to her more maternal sister.

Ochún's colors are yellow and gold, her number is 5 (and multiples of 5).  Her day of the week is Saturday.  She's syncretized with the Virgin of Caridad de Cobre, who is the patroness of Cuba.  This makes Ochún especially dear to Cubans, who celebrate her feast day of September 8 as a major holiday.  Both the peacock and the vulture are her symbols.  A patakí explains that Ochún in the form of a peacock flew to heaven to talk to Olofi about a problem the Orichás were having on earth.  No one else was brave enough to do this, because they knew Olorún (the sun) would burn them to a crisp.  As the peacock flew closer to the sun, its feathers were charred, its beauty was lost, and by the time it got to Olofi, it no longer looked like a peacock, but resembled a vulture instead.  Olofi, who is all-knowing, understood what Ochún had done, and he rewarded her for her bravery and lack of self interest by making her one of his favorite Orichás.  Ochún is a close friend of Eleguá, who supports her in all her endeavors.  She's the favorite wife of Changó, but her power doesn't depend on him." http://www.aboutsanteria.com/ochuacuten.html
Since honey is made up of elements and i do believe that Oshun is the essence of honey it is possible that there is some kind of consciousness for each element.  It is just a  theory but it is my own.
