Yemoja has Saturday

As the Ocean Energy, Yemoja is the Great Mother to all life on Earth.  She has been great to me, and i really love Her.  Attraction to dolphins, mermaids, or swans may be a sign that She  may be a good Guardian for a person who is searching.  As with all of the Orishas, they despise injustice so They are not to be played with and will not suffer fools.  For the sincere, She is awesome sauce.   When i do pedophilia spiritual work or hexe the pedophiles i petition Oshun and Yemoja to comfort the poor victims.  Because She is the energy of water She reaches world wide.  My dealings with Her are primarily astral so that i will present some great quotes about Her from other sources and cite them.

Santeria Church of the Orishas

"Yemayá (also spelled Yemoja, Iemoja, or Yemaya) is one of the most powerful orishasin Santeria. She is the mother of all living things, rules over motherhood and owns all the waters of the Earth. She gave birth to the stars, the moon, the sun and most of the orishas. Yemaya makes her residence in life-giving portion of the ocean (although some of her roads can be found in lagoons or lakes in the forest). Yemaya’s aché is nurturing, protective and fruitful. Yemaya is just as much a loving mother orisha as she is a fierce warrior that kills anyone who threatens her children.
Yemaya can be found in all the waters of the world, and because of this she has many aspects of “caminos” (roads), each reflecting the nature of different bodies of water. She, like Oshún, carries all of the experiences of womanhood within her caminos. Contrary to popular belief she is not just a loving mother. Some of Yemaya’s caminos are fierce warriors who fight with sabers or machetes and bathe in the blood of fallen enemies. Other roads are masterful diviners that have been through marriage, divorce and back again. Some roads of Yemaya have been rape survivors, while other roads betrayed her sisters out of jealousy and spite. No matter what camino of Yemaya, all are powerful female orishas and fiercely protective mothers.

Yemaya has a very special relationship with two orishas in particular: Oshún and ChangoOshún is often depicted as Yemaya’s sister, and Yemaya allows Oshún to take residence in her rivers. Yemaya and Oshun relate to one another like typical sisters; they love each other and also have a bit of sibling rivalry. Chango and Yemaya are inseparable. Some followers of Santeria say Yemaya is Chango’s mother. The two of them eat together and Chango shares his wealth with Yemaya. Yemaya helped mold Chango into the wise leader he was meant to be from birth (although he initially lacked the skill to rule with grace).
Different roads of Yemaya have had relationships with many of the male orishas including: Orunmila, Ogun, Inle, Orisha OkoObatalaand Aggayu. She is one of the four pillars of the Santeria religion along with ObatalaOshun and Chango. Therefore every initiatedolorisha will receive her pot with her mysteries at his kariocha initiation."

Wikipedia

"Yemoja (YorubaYemọja) is a major water deity from the Yoruba religion.[1] She is an orisha and the mother of all orishas, having given birth to the 14 Yoruba gods and goddesses.[2] She is often syncretized with either Our Lady of Regla in the afrocuban diaspora or various other Virgin Mary figures of the Catholic Church, a practice that emerged during the era of the Trans-Atlantic slave trade. Yemoja is motherly and strongly protective, and cares deeply for all her children, comforting them and cleansing them of sorrow. She is said to be able to cure infertility in women, and cowrie shells represent her wealth. She does not easily lose her temper, but when angered she can be quite destructive and violent, as the flood waters of turbulent rivers.
Yemoja is often depicted as a mermaid, and is associated with the moon, water, and feminine mysteries. She is the protector of women. She governs everything pertaining women; childbirth, conception, parenting, child safety, love, and healing. She oversees deep secrets, ancient wisdom, the moon, sea shells, and the collective unconscious. According to myth, when her waters broke, it caused a great flood creating rivers and streams and the first mortal humans were created from her womb."

Good/Evil Rating : GOOD, quite approachable   YEMAYA is also a Moon Goddess and the number seven has special significance for her.
We don’t like to gossip, but her husband OBATALA has a shady past — he created mankind under less than reputable circumstances. Still, that’s all water under the bridge now.  Godchecker entry on YEMAYA, the African Goddess of Childbirth

yemaya’s children

Family is very important to children of Yemaya. Normally, these folks will start having children pretty early in life. They are very devoted parents and will be very involved in their children’s lives. They tend to be very faithful people and their relationships are usually long-term. Her children are caring people who easily show their emotions. They love the ocean. If the don’t live near water, they will vacation there as much as they can. They are compassionate and understanding however, once they get angry about something they will blow their tops. Children of Yemaya are prone to depression and melancholy. They often exhibit psychic abilities."  http://tribeofthesun.com/deities/yemaya/
Ifa Foundation
"In Africa, women are accepted as strong, equal partners to men. Women, for the most part, ran the stores in the marketplace. They ran the household, and the senior wife
had total control over what other wives would be allowed into the home. This
view of the “Mother” is quite different from the Diaspora view. As a result
of the Middle Passage, the energy of Yemonja changed dramatically in this
hemisphere.  It lost its powerful aspect as a result of the secondary place
of women in Christianity. The Catholic slave masters' world view began to
 prevail.

The pataki that have evolved over the years have concentrated more on the
nurturing aspects, than the strong protective ones. Indeed, the ultimate
extension of this has been to portray the Yemonja energy as the nurturing
mother who provides and never complains. An energy that simply devotes its existence to caring for its children, but seldom disciplining them.
Nothing could be further from the truth! Of all the energies in the pantheon
of Orisa, Yemonja's wrath can be the most ferocious, the most devastating.
Unlike the selective destructiveness of Oya, the destructiveness of
Yemonja-Olokun in protecting its children, or expressing its wrath, is
overwhelming and extensive. It is represented by the Hurricane! A correct
and incisive description. The Hurricane sweeps away everything in its
path…whole cities or countries have been left shattered by this devastation.
