I would also like to stress that I am in , no way, supporting the abuse of harmful substances or street drugs, but exploring the possibilities of using Mother Nature for Shamanistic spiritual growth because I care deeply for the world we are borrowing from out descendants. Since
I have decided to take the Shamanic route to my Spirituality, I hunted
up some "magick" mushrooms in hopes of broadening my mind and further
activating my kundalini. After eating two grams, I laid down because I
was sick to my stomach. It was really strange because my body was
laying on the bed while my consciousness went through a tunnel with many
vibrating colors in patterns to appear sitting at a table inside a hut
made of plant material in some jungle.
I
was with many beautiful, shiny Earthy Souls of Ancient Times and They
asked me what I wanted to know so I asked Them to please tell me what I
needed. After some communing and Their introspection of me, I was
handed the most beautiful Earthern Urn with a lid from which I was told
to drink. Then my adult kids came in and pulled me out by asking me if I
fell asleep. I learned that the Drumming brings us closer to Mother Earth, and that it has healing qualities. Mankind has forgotten how to dance with the heartbeat of Great Mother Earth.

Simon Dominik (2015) wrote a lovely article that delves more deeply in "Shrooming" called “God Mushrooms” so I will just quote him. "Psilocybin mushrooms, more commonly known as 'magic mushrooms' or 'shrooms', are mushrooms that contain the psychedelic compounds psilocybin and psilocin. In general, they are dark-spored, gilled and grow in meadows and woods of the subtropics and tropics (para.1). In total there are around 200 species that contain psilocybin (Guzman et al., 2000). Most of which can be found in Mexico. However, there are also occurrences in the US, Canada, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia (para.3). As archeological evidence suggests, many cultures around the world have used mushrooms for ritualistic and sacred practices. Yes, I think that there is a definite and powerful Ancient Energy connected to mushrooms that gives us a remarkable experience for Shamanic spiritual growth.

It was reported that a group of hippies left town for good and were camping and eating whatever the earth was providing. I think it was the US again I m not sure. Amanita muscaria was eaten in large portions. They all experienced glossolalia, they were able to speak many languages. Does that ring a belle or two?
