Day 16: The Ascension of the Army of the Dead

Visions are funny things because they are difficult to interpret.  One of paige's greatest desires is to see the world return to balance or to be "saved" so her wishes for this recurring vision was for it to be about the world.  The Army of Dead with it shades of grey, black, and brown ever moving likes swirls in a river or stream were constant companions to her.  She felt invincible.  Alas, she did not realize that this horde of big brothers would move on one day.

The recurring vision involved the great mass rising up to become lighter and lighter until it was a a silvery iridescent color as shiney souls appear to her.  What good hearted person wouldn't wish that the vision meant that the dark ones would eat up the black sucking energy ones or slinkies to return soul shiney to the Earth's aura.

As Papa Legba's Feast Day was approaching for June 13th Maman Brigette and Baron Samedi spent some time in paige's dreams.  They put paige to work preparing an astral altar for Papa Legba's Feast, and she was honored to do it.  Paige knew there  was something big coming up; and still she hoped that it would be for the whole world while deep down she knew it was for her own little world.

The vision of the dark colors swirling upwards, ever lightening, into the silvery ethereal glow was almost steady in her mind's eye.  Somehow she just knew, as things are known by psychics, that the Army of African Souls was preparing to leave the Underworld and move onto higher planes.  Bittersweet she was, but mostly she  was just so happy for Them, her Beloved Eguns.

It was, indeed, glorious to see Them rising into upper dimensions on the 13th.  In her meditation that day, Maman Brigette, took the time to to telepathically speak to paige to tell her "They are gone, but the chords are still there so it You get into trouble, You just call Them."  Sure enough, both times paige got into trouble her Big Brothers came to the rescue.  None really knows how things work, but the probability that we are multi-dimensional beings seems plausible.
