Meme Debunking with Ulysses S. Grant & What Does the Bible Say About Slavery???

It seems like we all have our place, or at least i do.  My place, for now, is to research for the South as our history and heritage is being attacked; not only by the establishment, but buy by normal people who are behaving exactly as the establishment wants them to.

One thing that i have noticed in my research is propaganda against the South and hem-hawing excuses for the North.  I know who uses oily words that smell of rotten fish.  Who owns the media???  The media is Zionist controlled.

Since i have already demonstrated that Wikipedia is biased in my Fred Leutcher research, i started there to  see what they say.  Weird, that Grant's slaves were not mentioned on his Wiki page while there were paragraphs of unproven propaganda about Lee's slaves.

Grant's Slaves

The Wikipedia article about presidents who owned slaves states that Ulysses S. Grant  had ." Although he later served as a general in the Union Army, Grant had control of slaves owned by his wife.[1] He is known to have personally owned only one slave, William Jones, from 1857 to 1859.[2] Grant freed Jones rather than sell him, despite financial need. During the Civil War, he enlisted displaced slaves into the Union war effort and had them paid for their service" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Presidents_of_the_United_States_who_owned_slaves

The National Park service downplays the slaves on Grant's place with many flowery words to make it seem like it was alright.  They said that " Many visitors to Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site are surprised to learn that slaves lived and worked on the nineteenth century farm known as White Haven. During the years 1854 to 1859 Grant lived here with his wife, Julia, and their children, managing the farm for his father-in-law, Colonel Dent. At that time no one suspected that Grant would rise from obscurity to achieve the success he gained during the Civil war. However, his experience working alongside the White Haven slaves may have influenced him in his later roles as the Union general who won the war which abolished that 'peculiar institution,' and as President of the United States. The interpretation of slavery at White Haven is therefore an important part of the mission of this historic site" (National Park Service, 2015, para.1).

Lee's Slaves

Robert's slaves were actually his wives too as they were inherited with a large rundown estate.  Lee's father-in-law did give his slaves 5 years to be freed after he died as per his will.  Robert wrote a letter concerning the slaves and his intentions to free them, but New York Times wants money for it.

Wikipedia presents a part of a letter to his wife that says "In an 1856 letter to his wife, Lee also maintained:

'In this enlightened age, there are few I believe, but what will acknowledge, that slavery as an institution, is a moral & political evil in any Country. It is useless to expatiate on its disadvantages. I think it however a greater evil to the white man than to the black race, & while my feelings are strongly enlisted in behalf of the latter, my sympathies are more strong for the former. The blacks are immeasurably better off here than in Africa, morally, socially & physically. The painful discipline they are undergoing, is necessary for their instruction as a race, & I hope will prepare & lead them to better things. How long their subjugation may be necessary is known & ordered by a wise Merciful Providence. |Robert E. Lee|to Mary Anna Lee, December 27, 1856.[72]'

In 1862, Lee freed the slaves that his wife inherited, but that was in accordance with his father-in-law’s will.[76]"

Maybe Robert E. Lee was a bit racist, but he was a Christian man who believed in god and the bible.  The bible says "However, you may purchase male or female slaves from among the foreigners who live among you.  You may also purchase the children of such resident foreigners, including those who have been born in your land.  You may treat them as your property, passing them on to your children as a permanent inheritance.  You may treat your slaves like this, but the people of Israel, your relatives, must never be treated this way" (Leviticus 25:44-46 NLT).

"If you buy a Hebrew slave, he is to serve for only six years.  Set him free in the seventh year, and he will owe you nothing for his freedom.  If he was single when he became your slave and then married afterward, only he will go free in the seventh year.  But if he was married before he became a slave, then his wife will be freed with him.  If his master gave him a wife while he was a slave, and they had sons or daughters, then the man will be free in the seventh year, but his wife and children will still belong to his master.  But the slave may plainly declare, ‘I love my master, my wife, and my children.  I would rather not go free.’  If he does this, his master must present him before God.  Then his master must take him to the door and publicly pierce his ear with an awl.  After that, the slave will belong to his master forever. "(Exodus 21:2-6 NLT)

"When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are.  If she does not please the man who bought her, he may allow her to be bought back again." Exodus 21:7

"Slaves, obey your earthly masters with deep respect and fear.  Serve them sincerely as you would serve Chris".(Ephesians 6:5 NLT)
"Christians who are slaves should give their masters full respect so that the name of God and his teaching will not be shamed.  If your master is a Christian, that is no excuse for being disrespectful.  You should work all the harder because you are helping another believer by your efforts.  Teach these truths, Timothy, and encourage everyone to obey them". (1 Timothy 6:1-2 NLT)
Does it make sense to hate all Christians and tear down their monuments as has been done to Southerners???
